Stone tools
Now craft from any kind of regular stone, no end stone or netherbrick, purpur, etc.
Cannot mix and match stone types within the recipe
The stone can't be a polished variant
The tool will come out as plain stone, regardless of the stone type used
Stone tools are regular stone tools, as though made from cobblestone
Stone tools from cooked stone - who would have thought?
Materials recovery
Get your planks (and some block types) back from stairs, slabs, pressure plates, etc.
Planks/blocks from stairs, applies to all wood and stone stairs
Pressure plates to planks, applies to all wood pressure plates
Planks/blocks from slabs, applies to all wood and stone slabs
Now, Minecraft already has stacked stone slab recipes together - which create either chiseled, or pillar variants, like this:
Slabs that do this: purpur, quartz, sandstone, red sandstone, stone brick
So we use an alternate recipe, which needs more slabs, and in some cases produces a "smooth" variant
Stone brick from stone brick slab
Smooth quartz from quartz slab
Purpur block from purpur slab
Smooth sandstone from sandstone slab
Smooth red sandstone from red sandstone slab
These smooth & chiseled blocks can be turned back into "normal" blocks
Quartz block from smooth quartz
Red sandstone from smooth red sandstone - same thing works for normal sandstone, too
Sandstone from chiseled sandstone
Purpur block from purpur pillar
Then there's this wierdo, the full smooth block, normally only available via creative mode
Smooth stone from stone slab
Turn the smooth stone blocks back into stone slabs
"Uncrafting"
Not all "uncrafting" recipes are symmetrical: you can't get your sticks back from a fence, for example.
Planks from fence, recipe applies to all fence wood types
Oak planks from combining four sticks
Get your stick back from 4 arrows
Turn glass panes back to glass blocks - must all be same color
Turn carpet back into string
Pull those books out of the bookshelf
Turn carpet back into wool blocks - must all be same color
If your carpet isn't all the same color, bleach it out
You can use different colors together to strip the color out
You can also bleach out dyed wool blocks
"Unpacking"
Lets you work with materials in bulk that you'd normally need a tool to manipulate. Keep in mind that your yields with an enchanted tool may be higher than unpacking on the workbench - these are the average yields without enchanted tools.
(Shapeless recipe) flint directly from gravel
Clay gives you the same amount, regardless of the tool
Really, though, an enchanted pickaxe could get you 4
